Privacy notice
Plain-language handling of website information.
Proposed for launch · July 12, 2026
1. Scope
This notice describes information collected through the public Arid Insights website and its inquiry form. A signed engagement may include additional confidentiality, security, retention, and data-handling terms that control over this website notice for that engagement.
2. Information the website may collect
When you submit the inquiry form, Arid may receive your name, work email, organization, role, decision type, timing, and the non-confidential description you provide. Basic technical information may also be generated by the hosting service, such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, and security logs.
3. What not to submit
Do not submit confidential client information, privileged material, personal financial or health information, credentials, regulated data, export-controlled information, or sensitive infrastructure-security information through the public form. An inquiry does not create a client relationship.
4. How information is used
- Respond to your inquiry and assess whether Arid’s current work fits the decision you describe.
- Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website.
- Prevent misuse, investigate security events, and comply with lawful obligations.
- Maintain a business record of communications and decisions about a potential engagement.
5. Sharing
Arid does not intend to sell website inquiry information. Information may be shared with service providers that support hosting, communications, security, or business operations; with professional advisers under appropriate duties; or when required to comply with law, protect rights, or address a security concern. The final published notice should name or categorize actual providers after the launch stack is confirmed.
6. Cookies and analytics
The launch configuration should use only the cookies and analytics necessary for the selected hosting, security, and measurement approach. Any non-essential analytics or advertising technology should be disclosed and, where required, presented with an appropriate choice mechanism before activation.
7. Retention
Website inquiry information should be retained only as long as needed to respond, evaluate a potential engagement, maintain appropriate business records, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. A final retention schedule must be approved before this notice is published.
8. Security
Arid intends to use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information handled. No website or transmission method can be represented as completely secure. This notice does not claim SOC 2 certification or any other certification unless and until that certification has been earned and expressly stated.
9. Your choices and questions
You may ask Arid to correct or delete website inquiry information, subject to legal and operational retention needs. A verified privacy contact channel and identity-verification procedure must be inserted before publication.
10. Changes
The published notice should carry an effective date and be updated when website practices materially change. Material changes should not be applied retroactively in a way that is inconsistent with applicable law.
